Responsibilities : 

  • Owns, develops and manages end-to- end operations relating to Field Sales Teams spread across cities, for used cars category
  • Super Admin for sales and dealer CRM tools – monitors usage and handles QRC
  • Maintains robust sales tracking through spreadsheets/CRM systems, maximizing automation into data collection and reporting
  • Swiftly troubleshoots product delivery/activation, other client issues
  • Owns training agenda, conducts trainings on tools, processes & software
  • Direct Sales Tracking – Cross functional coordination with finance, BI and sales to track budgeted vs actual revenue & key matrices (retention, win-back, base expansion)
  • SOP implementation – Responsible for seamless implementation of sales processes, direct-tele coordination, DSM/ASM working and SOW implementation across markets
  • Business Reporting – Prepare insightful reports on productivity levels across levels & markets; competition tracking and industry updates/new avenues
  • Keeps a daily pulse on Sales Team performance – SPOC for sharing revenue and acquisition performance
  • Develops business updates for management teams
  • SPOC for competitive intelligence - leveraging Sales Teams and when relevant, independent research otherwise to track competitive landscape
  • Thought partner on process improvements, but more importantly on growing the business through improved client delivery and retention
  • Manages a team of MIS execs to ensure that the manual data entry etc are done as per the pre-defined ops modules

 

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Past experience managing sales force processes and operations is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience in internet industry is preferred
  • Obsession with details - maintaining process smoothness, traceability and data robustness –  fully comfortable and speedy with Advanced excel and PPT
  • Ability to be a thought partner for the business, on process and sales/ client strategy
  • High energy individual, able to deal with scores of sales people on a regular basis
  • Available and willing to travel across the country to field sales offices (~15-20% time)
  • Articulate and candid communicator, able to manage senior stakeholder
  • Preferably someone with 2-3 years in sales and 4-5 years total experience
